*PM me Gravis a exactly how your name will be in vent and it is case sensative. Also in that Pm you need to put a password all lower case that you will put in under the port. then I will return your PM when your account is activated.

-First download from link above and Install Ventrilo 3.0.5, then open.

-1) Enter a user name on the top by clocking the -> button to the right of the user name space. Then you want to click

New and add the user name you want but no extra's like ranks or that stuff (just a name).

-2) Next space down click the -> button next to the SERVER, click NEW and call it Gravis. Thi is where you will add the IP

and PORT from above. Click ok.

-3) Next is to the middle right side look for SETUP and click that TAB. You want to be under the VOICE tab.

-4) Starting from Left top to Left bottom. Make sure you have exactly lie what I put here.

Checked - Enable outgoing communications

Checked - Use Push-To-Talk hot key

Checked - Use DirectInput to Detect Hotkey

UnChecked - Play key Clicks

HotKey (highlight in box and choose a hotkey)

Codec - GSM 6.10

Format - 44 kHz, 16 bit

-5) Next Right side of the setup top to bottom.

Output Device - (use the pull down arrow and choose your sound device)

Unchecked - Use DirectSound for Input Device

Input Device - (use the pull down arrow and choose your sound device)

Mixer - (use the pull down arrow and choose your sound device)

Mux - (mine is set to Recording Control)

Line - (Use the pull down and make sure it is microphone)

Hardware Volume - This is to set your main volume.

OutBound Volume - This is to set what other hear for your Microphone.

Inbound Volume - This is to set what you are hearing from your speakers

-6) After this click ok to accept all changes.

-7) CONNECT

****IMPORTANT***** (If you get on the server and you can hear others but they can't hear you when you push in your

hot key to talk then go back into SETUP and at the top Right to the middle right change these

three INBOUND DEVICE, OUTBOUND DEVICE, and MIXER to DEFAULT WAVE MAPPER. Then you need to

make sure that in the main screen all four of the boxes at the bottom of Ventrilo are UNCHECKED.

Then also go into your control panel of windows and make sure that none of your sound or

Microphone is MUTED.
